October 21, 2020 | Posted by Jeffrey Harris

Bodyslam.net has an update on the MLW status of Mance Warner. There was an earlier report indicating that Warner was interested in working in AEW, but his current MLW contract prevented it. According to BodySlam.net’s latest update, Warner actually requested his release from MLW, but his request for release was denied.

While Mance Warner currently remains under contract with MLW, BodySlam notes that Warner is in the process of trying to get out of his current deal, and lawyers are said to now be getting involved. When MLW was asked for comment on the situation regarding Warner’s contract situation, if he’d be in attendance at The Restart TV tapings, and if there were any further negotiations between two parties, MLW returned comment with, “All we’re saying is he [Mance Warner] remains under a deal.” With regards to how much more time is left on Warner’s current contract, MLW opted not to comment.

Currently, Warner is scheduled to work the AAW event on October 29. The card is slated to stream on FITE TV.
