Mandy Rose Hotel Segment Draws Heavy YouTube Traffic, Update on Alexa Bliss Locker Room Segment

– WWE’s dipping of its toes into the Attitude Era sexuality this week via Alexa Bliss and Mandy Rose is continuing to show success. The Rose segment, which featured the Smackdown star attempting to seduce Jimmy Uso, is easily the most-watched YouTube clip from Smackdown as of now with 1.6 million views. By comparison, #2 is the Miz vs. Sheamus match at 785,000 views as of this writing.

Meanwhile, the Bliss segment from Raw which featured a stagehand walking into her dressing room to find her half-dressed is doing huge numbers as well. As of now the video has 4.325 million views, making it the most watched segment since from Raw on the platform since the December 3rd match pitting Ronda Rousey and Ember Moon against Nia Jax and Tamina. That video has 4.352 million views and should soon be surpassed by the Bliss segment.

The segments are reportedly an attempt from WWE to re-insert sexuality into their shows in a similar fashion to the Attitude Era’s tendency to push the envelope.
