Matt Hardy Says He’s Still A Free Agent After TNA Return At Rebellion

Matt Hardy made a surprise return to TNA at last night’s Rebellion, but he has confirmed that as of now he is still a free agent. As noted, Hardy showed up in his Broken character after the main event and laid out TNA World Champion Moose with a Twist of Fate before posing with the title.

That led some to (understandably) assume that Hardy, who became a free agent earlier this month when his AEW contract had expired, had signed a deal with the company. However, he shot that down in a response to a fan, writing:

“No. I’m a free agent. I will appear when I want to appear.”
