It was reported at the end of 2020 that Matt Riddle was offered a new contract by WWE that would see him earn $400,000 per year for a three-year deal. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has confirmed that he has signed, as evidenced by his United States title win at Elimination Chamber. It also confirmed the amount, noting that he will get $1.2 million for three years, which equals out to $400,000 per year.
