Meeting Held With WWE NXT Talent Regarding Rumors of Changes

As we previously reported, there are rumors that Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard are set to take over the WWE NXT brand. However, later reports suggested the two won’t be handling the day-to-day creative, simply the brand’s presentation and look. It was noted that McMahon, Prichard and others from “that side” will be handling the “big picture” stuff.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there was a meeting with talent and staff about the rumors this week. They were told that the stories of the two directly producing the show were not true. However, while not involved with weekly booking, McMahon will likely use more influence over who is pushed and who is cut than he did before.
