Michin Says She Won’t Fumble Her Opportunity To Become the First Women’s US Champion
– Michin picked up a huge win last night at WWE SmackDown, winning a Triple Threat Match against Last Legend and Piper Niven to advance in the Women’s United States Championship Tournament. She later spoke in a WWE digital exclusive video regarding the victory.
Michin said on the victory and winning the US Title, “And that is a party that I will not be missing, now, I fumbled my opportunities to become the first-ever Women’s NXT North American Champion.” She continued, “This time, I will not fumble becoming the first ever women’s US Champion. This is not a want, but a need, I will be the first.”
The finals for the tournament to crown the inaugural champion are scheduled for Saturday, December 14 at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. The event will be held at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. It will be broadcast live on NBC and simulcast on Peacock.
