WWE News: The Miz Says Tonight Is Not Emotional for Him, Another Note on Velveteen Dream’s ‘Call Me Up Vince’ Tights, and Summerslam Kickoff Show Video

– WWE released a video of a short interview with The Miz as he was arriving at the Barclays Center tonight for Summerslam. He commented on his upcoming match with Daniel Bryan, and he said it wasn’t emotional for him. You can see the video of the promo below. The Miz stated:

“Emotions? Do you think this is emotional for me? This isn’t emotional for me. Maybe for Daniel Bryan because this is his “prove it” match and if he loses, he will prove me right, which is his return has been nothing but a bust. And guess what? His career will be over and mine will be soaring because after I beat Daniel Bryan I’m going for the WWE Championship.”

– Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer commented on speculation that Velveteen Dream might have heat because of the tights he wore last night at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV that said “Call me up Vince.” Meltzer claimed that there’s no heat and that Dream wouldn’t of worn the tights if they were not approved. You can see his tweet below.

As previously reported, Triple H said the meaning was in reference to one of Dream’s friends who is named Vince and not Vince McMahon.
