MLW Announces Second Simon Gotch Prize Fight Event Set for June 7

– MLW issued out the following press release today regarding the 2nd Simon Gotch Prize Fight event set for June 7. The event will be held at the Gilt Nightclub, and tickets are now on sale.

ORLANDO – Grappling great Simon Gotch will once again offer any and all comers the chance to win a large sum cash prize at MLW’s June 7th stacked “5 Main Events in one night” themed card in Orlando as he presents the 2nd Simon Gotch Prize Fight. Gilt Nightclub will host Major League Wrestling FUSION for beIN SPORTS June 7th with tickets starting at $15.

In their continued support of the Simon Gotch Prize Fight exhibitions, Team Filthy today announced that they will again sponsor the June 7th bout in Orlando.  Earlier this month, Gotch squared off against karate practitioner Danny Santiago. Who lasted 37 seconds and was dominated throughout by the Great Gotch.

Team Filthy, captained by UFC Fighter “Filthy” Tom Lawlor, features a murderers row of martial artists / fighters including: Seth Petruzelli, Lawlor and Simon Gotch.

What is a Simon Gotch Prize Fight?  Well, according to Team Filthy:

Any and all gentlemen with superb athletic ability are welcomed to step up and try to test their prowess.  If they can last just 5 minutes in an exhibition against the “Great Gotch” without being pinned or conceding, they will win a LARGE sum cash reward.

GILT is located at 740 Bennett Rd. in Orlando.

Dress code: There is no dress code for this event. If you stay for the after party at GILT there is a dress code of no hats, shorts or tank tops.

Parking: The venue has a parking lot. Space is available on a first come, first serve basis. There is a small fee for parking at the venue’s lot. Valet parking is also available at GILT.
