– A new report has an update on MLW seeking to potentially run shows in Canada. As reported last week, the company was considering a possible event in Toronto, Ontario which would be their first-ever show in the country. PWInsider reports that the company is planning to do site surveys later this month in both Toronto and Alberta, though the report does not mention which cities specifically in the latter.

According to the site, the idea is to build around a homecoming for Davey Boy Smith Jr. at some point.

– The site also notes that morale is “very high” in the MLW locker room and reaction to Azteca Lucha show in Chicago over the past weekend “blew everyone away.” The company was said to be very happy with the event, which broke their merchandise record as they nearly sold out of everything by 9 PM.

– MLW has released a documentary on Satoshi Kojima’s return to the company. Kojima was away from MLW for a little over 20 years before he returned in January. He has since win the MLW World Heavyweight Championship, a title he first held in 2002.
