More Details On WWE’s Interest In Moose and Their Talks With Him

It was previously reported that WWE had been interested at Moose at one point near the end of one of his deals with Impact Wrestling. Moose later confirmed those reports but noted that he wanted to stay in Impact and recently signed a new two-year deal. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has more details on the situation.

It was noted that talks with wrestlers near the end of their contracts is nothing new, but there was indeed interest from WWE. However, WWE was “looking at NXT first”, and eventually it led to Moose turning them down to stay where he is.
