NBCUniversal Reaches Deal to Bring Peacock to Amazon Fire TV

– Per Deadline, NBCUniversal and Amazon have announced that Peacock will now be available on Amazon Fire TV and Fire tablets in the US starting Thursday, June 24. Peacock is the exclusive streaming home of the WWE Network in the US.
The new deal is reportedly part of a larger partnership between Amazon and NBCU. More announcements are expected to be coming soon.
Amazon Fire is currently available in more than 50 million homes in the US. Also, NBCUniversal was able to recently make a deal with Smart-TV maker Samsung and reached an agreement with the streaming gateway, Roku. Previously, Amazon Fire TV teased the deal yesterday on Twitter.
