April 6, 2019 | Posted by
In an interview with Inside the Ropes (via Fightful), Nia Jax explained why a match against Dean Ambrose, which was promoted for a live event back in February, never happened. Here are highlights:
On the match with Dean Ambrose getting cancelled: “Unfortunately, my schedule… they didn’t have the schedule right and I had Total Divas that I had to go to so it was more of the scheduling was off and we couldn’t make it work.”
On the women of NXT: “Oh gosh, Bianca Belair is definitely my favorite. For sure you have to watch out for her coming up in the ranks and hopefully she comes up soon. It’ll be cool because she’d add another little flavor to the roster. She’s such an incredible athlete, and she’s strong.”
