NJPW News: Cody Rhodes Previews the G1 Special in San Francisco, Notes on Minoru Suzuki’s 30th Anniversary Event, and The Young Bucks Children’s Book Available for Pre-Order

– NJPW released a new preview where Cody Rhodes recaps his feud with Kenny Omega ahead of their upcoming IWGP heavyweight title bout at the G1 Special on July 7 in San Francisco, California at the Cow Palace. He also runs down other Bullet Club members who will have matches at the event, including, Marty Scurll and the Guerrillas of Destiny.
– NJPW held a 30th anniversary show for Minoru Suzuki, and he faced Kazuchika Okada in the main event. The match ended in a 30-minute draw. Per Chris Charlton on Twitter, the event had an attendance of approximately 18,000 people. Additionally, he said the TV Asahi film crew was in attendance, so the show might eventually be archived on NJPW World.

– Nick Jackson of the IWGP tag team champions The Young Bucks announced on Twitter that the team’s children’s book is up for pre-order until July 1. The first 400 people who pre-order it will receive autographed copies and a random 100 winners will be chosen for an autographed copy after that.
