– According to Dave Meltzer on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, NJPW is planning to film NJPW Strong TV tapings in front of fans very soon. Meltzer stated that New Japan is planning to bring in fans for the Strong shows “as soon as they can pull that off.”
When NJPW started the Strong show, the tapings were closed to the general public due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, New Japan announced last week that the promotion will be holding its first live event with fans in attendance since February 2020 with Resurgence. The card is scheduled for August 14 at The Torch at LA Coliseum in Los Angeles.
