Note on Botched Finish for PAC vs. Trent on AEW Dynamite
– According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it appears some miscommunication caused the referee to botch the finish for PAC vs. Trent earlier this week on AEW Dynamite. Originally, the match was reportedly planned to go longer for the broadcast. However, the match going up against a commercial break caused “an issue.”
After that, PAC and Trent then set up the ending for the match, which was meant to be the Black Arrow. The problem is that the referee, Bryce Remsberg, was not made aware that PAC and Trent planned to use that as their finish. So after PAC hit the move, Trent did not move to kick out. Remsberg only counted two, despite Trent not actually kicking out at all, so the match continued as a result. He then applied the Brutalizer on Trent for the finish.
Adam Page will get another chance against PAC later today at AEW Full Gear. The event is set for the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. It will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.
