Note On The Elite Making Decision To Re-Sign With AEW

As previously reported, The Elite have signed new long-term deals with AEW and will be staying with the company for some time. It was noted that it’s believed that the deals are four years, which would keep them in AEW until 2027.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that the group made the decision to stay with a majority vote. The four agreed to stick together. While opinions and votes changed during negotiations, they eventually decided to stay.
AEW’s schedule was said to be the most important factor for the decision, something Matt Jackson said himself in an interview with Sports Illustrated yesterday. It’s believed the deals were signed weeks ago, with Tony Khan asking them to keep quiet so it could be announced on the day of the 200th Dynamite.
