Note On How Long WWE Was Interested In Today’s New Signings
January 20, 2021 | Posted by
It was reported earlier today that WWE has signed Priscilla Kelly, Elayna Black and Lacey Ryan to NXT, where they will compete as Gigi Dolin, Cora Jade and Zoey Stark, respectively. Fightful Select reports that the “wheels have been in motion” since at least the last group of signings.
WWE had interest in all three back in early November, which is about the time that Black and Ryan had tryouts at the Performance Center. WWE had been “aggressively” trying to find out the contract status and sign various free agents. Black and Ryan were almost guarantees to get signed after their tryouts, and WWE had been interested in Kelly for some time.
