Note On Talk In WWE of Splitting up Rey & Dominik Mysterio

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there has been talk in WWE of splitting up Rey and Dominik Mysterio, although it’s unknown if there would be a heel turn involved. There has at least been talk of not using them as a tandem.

Rey has been out due to getting more stem cell treatments for injuries, while Dominik is selling injuries from an attack by Veer Mahaan.

There had been an angle where Rey said that Dominik needed to go on his own, but it was dropped. Then there had been angle building to a split of some kind, but that was also dropped. So nothing official has happened on TV yet, but there are talks of having them both go solo.
