Note On Plans Being Made For Nick Wayne In AEW

Nick Wayne will be joining the AEW roster once he turns 18, and AEW has reportedly already begun coming up with ideas for him. Fightful Select reports that sources have indicated that AEW had tentative plans for creative regarding Wayne joining the roster as far back as “months ago.”

AEW signed Wayne back when he was 16, though the contract doesn’t come into effect until his 18th birthday. Wayne is currently 17 years old and is set to turn 18 in mid-July. Swerve Strickland called for a match against Wayne in AEW back in April for the July 12th episode of Dynamite.
