NXT Takeover XXV Likely To Sell Out Or Close To It
May 23, 2019 | Posted by
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the advance for WWE’s NXT Takeover: XXV in Bridgeport, CT on June 1 is said to be “strong” and it seems that it will either sell out or come close to doing so. The show will be the first Takeover in a major arena that wasn’t the day before a major WWE PPV.
The event is currently selling ahead of the pace of AEW’s show in Jacksonville and New Japan’s G1 event in Dallas. AEW has yet to announce a card for their show, which isn’t a PPV but the biggest show they currently have tickets on sale for. NJPW also hasn’t announced a card, but the event is expected to feature every major star in the heavyweight division.
