Pete Dunne Injured During Match at Battle Pro Show, WWE Thinking About Pulling Him From Weekend Events

– Progress released a video from co-owner Jim Smallman, who confirmed that Pete Dunne has been pulled from the event. Dunne also had to receive 11 stitches for his cut from his injury from the previous night. You can check out the video PROGRESS released below.

PWInsider reports that WWE UK champion Pete Dunne suffered a laceration over his left eye during a match last night against Darius Carter for the Battle Pro promotion in Brooklyn, New York. The match reportedly had to be cut short due to his cut.

Dunne suffered the laceration during an errant belt spot. Currently, Dunne is scheduled to defend his WWE Uk title against Jack Gallagher tonight in Queens, New York for Progress Wrestling. The report doesn’t mention if Dunne is still good to go for the event. However, a source claims that WWE contemplating pulling Dunne from the Progress show and tomorrow’s Progress date he is also set for in Somerville, Massachusetts.
