More On Possible Daniel Bryan vs. Shane McMahon Match
December 11, 2017 | Posted by
Last week, it was reported that there are rumors WWE is building to a match between Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan. However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer said that wasn’t happening because Bryan still hasn’t been cleared to wrestle for WWE. Now Cageside Seats (via SportsKeeda), in a report acknowledging the rumors, suggested that it could still happen with a possible twist.
The belief is that WWE is building towards the match but if Bryan is not cleared to wrestle, he will gets someone to take on Shane as his surrogate. It’s unknown who the WWE might have in mind for that position if this is the case.
Bryan has previously said that other doctors have cleared him and he’s currently waiting on a WWE doctor to do the same.
