Various News: PROGRESS Wrestling Breaks Attendance Record, Doug Williams Announces His Retirement, and Ric Flair Attends Georgia Bulldogs Game

Wrestlezone.com reports that the PROGRESS Wrestling event at Hello Wembley today had an announced attendance of 4,750 people. That’s reportedly an attendance record for the promotion. Additionally, PROGRESS also announced that the Super Strong Style tournament will run from May 4-6, 2019.

– Additionally, Wrestlezone also reports that former TNA X Division, tag team, and TV champion Doug Williams announced his in-ring retirement today at a PROGRESS Wrestling event. He lost the Atlas World Championship match to Trent Seven, and then he announced his retirement. You can check out a photo of him after the match from the event that was posted on Twitter below.

– WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was in attendance at a Georgia Bulldogs game yesterday. While there, he presented an award to the Georgia Track & Field team. You can see a footage of his appearance at the game below.
