In an interview with the AJ3 Report, R-Truth spoke about his match with The Rock and John Cena at Survivor Series 2011, which he said was legendary. Here are highlights:

On starting his own podcast: “I think the most thing I want to accomplish man is to gain more of a mass of fans. That’s pretty much it. More fans that I can get to jump on my Ron Killings brand. More fans that I can turn into music fans. More fans that I can just like, motivate and just electrify to come aboard…I love my music. I love entertainment. I have a podcast I’m working on. There’s just so much, man. If I can quadruple my following, that would be an accomplishment for me.”

On rappers he enjoys: “If you wanna go back to the Sugar Hill Gang, that’s what got me started rapping. It started going up from back then to Sugar Hill to Kool Moe Dee and Jazzy Jeff, KRS One, then you graduate on up to um…Jay-Z, Yo Gotti, I like some Bootsy, love Bootsy. Future. Jeezy.”

On working with John Cena and The Rock: “Man, it was legendary, man. Those two pretty much added esteem to the business, to the wrestling business, man. Both of them with entertainment, with work ethics, ring awareness, psychology, everything around, man. It was like legendary being in the ring with them.”
