Randy Orton’s Father Says He’s ‘Coming Along’ In Back Injury Recovery

In a virtual signing for K&S Wrestlefest (via Post Wrestling), ‘Cowboy’ Bob Orton Jr commented on the progress of his son, Randy Orton, who is healing from a back injury. Randy has been out since this past May dealing with the injury. Here are highlights:

On Randy Orton’s health: “He’s [Randy Orton] coming along. I see him maybe once a week or so. But he’s coming along. He’ll be back in there before you know it.”

On Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton: I think Cody [Rhodes versus Randy] would be a hell of a match. I wrestled Dusty a lot of times so, might as well keep it ongoing.

On if he’d return to WWE TV: “Oh gosh, probably. I’d probably enjoy the heck out of it. I don’t know if the body would. It’d always be great being with your kid, you know, doing something. Sure.”
