Ratings Breakdown For This Week’s AEW Dynamite

As previously reported, this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite was even in the ratings and dropped slightly in viewership. It had 822,000 viewers and an 0.29 (381,000) viewers in the key 18-49 demographic. It also had an 0.21 in 18-34. Dynamite was #3 for the night, behind two NBA games on ESPN. It was #2 in its time slot, losing to New Orleans vs. Indiana (1,064,000/0.32). The late game between the Lakers and Clippers had 1,404,000/0.47. When comparing it to network TV, Dynamite also beat FOX in both hours, ABC in one hour and CBS in its second hour. Dynamite’s lead-in, The Big Bang Theory, had 1,124,000 viewers and an 0.23 rating. Dynamite’s overrun ended at 0.33 and the next program, a rerun of Modern Family, dropped to 0.06.
Compared to last week, the show was down 0.7% in viewers, even in 18-49 and down 5.1% in 18-34. Compared to last year, it was down 1.3% in viewers, up 7.6% in 18-49 and up 25% in 18-34. It had 106,000 viewers in men 18-34 (down 2.8%), 44,000 in women 18-34 (down 10.2%), 165,000 in men 35-49 (up 8.6%) and 66,000 in women 35-49 (down 7%). The audience was 71.1% male in 18-49.
