Ratings Breakdown For This Past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite

As previously reported, this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite was down from the week before in both the key 18-49 demographic rating and overall viewership. It had 579,000 viewers on TBS and an 0.16 rating (215,000 viewers) in 18-49. It also had an 0.08 in 18-34. The decline comes even with a higher lead-in than usual, as The Big Bang Theory had 1,006,000 viewers and an 0.16 (a tie). This is the second time a rerun of the sitcome has tied AEW in 18-49.

Dynamite was #13 for the day and #4 in its timeslot. It was behind the Boston vs. San Antonio NBA game on ESPN (1,211,000/0.34), Team Canada vs. Team Sweden in hockey (880,000/0.30 on TNT and 169,000/0.07 on TruTV) and Jesse Watters (4,412,000/0.23) and Hannity (3,438,000/0.21) on Fox News.

Compared to last week, it was down 4.3% in viewers, down 6.9% in 18-49 and down 29.9% in 18-34. Compared to last year, it was down 28.6% in viewers, down 45.3% in 18-49 and down 70.3% in 18-34. It had 28,000 in men 18-34 (down 39.1%), 26,000 in women 18-34 (down 16.1%), 116,000 in men 35-49 (down 3.3%) and 45,000 in women 35-49 (up 32.4%).
