PWInsider has more details on next week’s RAW 25 special, including the status of some big names that haven’t been announced as appearing yet.

– Edge will not likely appear as he will be out of the country when RAW happens. There is also no word on Christian making an appearance.

– CM Punk still has issues with WWE due to the lawsuit WWE’s Dr. Chris Amann filed against Punk and Colt Cabana. The case will be heard in May. It’s extremely unlikely that Punk and WWE would be willing to work together.

– Jeff Hardy is expected to be in New York City for the event, but he’s still recovering from surgery and likely won’t be wrestling.

Both Bret Hart and Mick Foley were featured in advertising for the show, but they haven’t been mentioned. There’s been no discussions of Hart making an appearance. Mick Foley, who lives near where the show will take place, already said he was invited to attend the taping.

– There’s also been nothing to suggest that either Batista or Rey Mysterio will show up.

– Hulk Hogan has not been discussed as returning and Hogan himself said he won’t be there. Eric Bischoff has been announced for the show. Jimmy Hart, who travels with Hogan, has not been announced for the show.

– As we’ve previously noted, The Rock is rumored for a possible appearance. If it happens, it would be a last second surprise to pop the crowd. It’s more likely that due to his busy schedule, he’ll appear in a taped message.

– WWE continues to add more names as they book them. It’s possible that more names will be announced during Smackdown Live tonight or on social media as they days pass.
