– Ric Flair was interviewed on ESPN Radio’s Dan LeBatard, discussing his recent health issues and the release of his WWE book Second Nature. Flair admitted that he drank too much, and that drinking after wrestling became a way of life and that set him for the various health issues that landed him in the hospital last August and on life support for ten days.

Following his hospital stay, he’s home now, Flair noted that the will have to use a colostomy bag for the next six months, but feels great. He explained that while on life support, he could hear things going on around him and compared it to dreaming on and on without being able to wake up. He said they had him tied down because he kept trying to get out of bed.

Finally, he said he’s going to learn how to occupy his time and not drinking again will not be hard. He also explained that when he went to rehab several years ago, he started smoking cigarettes to replace drinking and found it harder to give those up than the drinking.
