RKBro Reunites, Gets Raw Tag Team Title Shot at WWE SummerSlam
RKBro’s split didn’t last very long, as Randy Orton and Riddle reunited on Raw and issued a challenge for a Raw Tag Team Title match at WWE SummerSlam. On Monday’s episode of Raw, Riddle and Randy Orton put their differences behind them after Orton had turned on Riddle and delivered an RKO to end last week’s show.
Tonight’s show saw Riddle say that he believed Orton was trying to teach him a lesson and wanted them to get back together as a tag team. That brought out AJ Styles and Omos, which led to Styles facing Riddle and Orton facing Omos. While Orton did not stay out to help Riddle and Styles picked up the win, Riddle did come out to help Orton after Styles attacked to cause a DQ and then the champions attacked Orton.
After the champions were run out of the ring, Orton said that Riddle has earned his respect and hugged him. Riddle said that since RKBro was back, they were going to challenge for the tag team titles. WWE has since confirmed the match for the show.
