Rob Van Dam Addresses WWE Rolling Back Restrictions on Marijuana Use
March 22, 2025 | Posted by

– During a recent interview with Insight with Chris Van Vliet, WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam discussed WWE rolling back its restrictions against marijuana use for its wellness policy. RVD noted how he was ahead of the curve in that regard.
Rob Van Dam said on topic (via WrestlingInc.com), “I can’t say I’m surprised. I always knew the direction that marijuana prohibition would go. I was just ahead of the curve, like I am with a lot of things. I’m ahead of my time in a lot of ways.”
It was reported in April 2022 that WWE had at that time stopped suspending or fining talent over marijuana use for years at that point.
