Roman Reigns Says There Was ‘No Need’ For a Moment With Cody Rhodes After WrestleMania 40

Roman Reigns says he didn’t have a post-show moment of reflection with Cody Rhodes after WrestleMania 40. Rhodes of course beat Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the PPV, culminating a lengthy feud and storyline between them and ending Reigns’ legendary title reign. Reigns was asked on the SI Media Podcast whether he and Rhodes shared a moment after the show to reflect on the match.
“No,” Reigns said (h/t to Wrestling Inc). “There’s no need, but if you want to sit out there and babyface for four hours then I ain’t waiting especially at that point… We know what we did, we were both out there, so you can thank each other and all that old stuff but we put our bodies on the line together and I think that’s thanks enough.”
Upon his post-WrestleMania 40 hiatus and return, Reigns teamed up with Rhodes to battle Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at WWE Bad Blood.
