– Drew McIntyre had all of Cardiff, Wales behind him tonight at WWE Clash at the Castle, but it was not enough to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Roman Reigns was successful in beating McIntyre for the match, thanks to interference from what appears to be the newest member of The Bloodline, Solo Sikoa.

The Usos and Paul Heyman were not in the building tonight, so it seems Roman Reigns recruited the assistance of his cousin, Solo Sikoa, instead. Sikoa makes his main roster debut here. Before the match, a special video played with McIntyre’s old WWE entrance theme music, “Broken Dreams.”

Austin Theory did attempt to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase during the match. However, a knockout punch from boxing champion Tyson Fury, who was sitting ringside, prevented Theory from executing his cash-in. Karrion Kross and Scarlett were also ringside. However, other than McIntyre and Kross exchanging some words, Kross did not get involved.

After the match, Tyson Fury came into the ring to come to the assistance of Drew McIntyre. He consoled him on his defeat, and they joined together to sing a rendition of Don McClean’s “American Pie.” Undeterred, McIntyre thanked the fans and proclaimed he will eventually get his hands on the undisputed titles.
