Samoa Joe Defends US Championship at WWE Fastlane (Highlights)
– Samoa Joe’s United States Championship was too young to end, and thus he retained his championship at Fastlane. Pics and video are below from the Fatal Four-Way match, which saw Joe defend against R-Truth, Rey Mysterio and Andrade. The match came to a close after Joe broke up a pin attempt by R-Truth on Andrade, only to have Mysterio get Joe into the ropes and go for the 619. The champion then dodged the splash attempt by Rey and locked in the Coquina Clutch, causing Mysterio to tap out.
Joe won the title just last week at Smackdown in another Fatal Four-Way against these three, taking the title from R-Truth. There are rumors that Joe may face John Cena with the title on the line at WrestleMania.
