Saraya Reportedly Signed Three-Year Contract With AEW

– Fightful Select has an update on Saraya’s AEW contract after she made her debut last week on Dynamite Grand Slam. According to the report, AEW reached out to Saraya not long after her latest WWE contract ended and she became a free agent in July.

AEW’s interest in bringing Saraya went as far back as Starrcast V, where she made an appearance. However, not many details were known about her debut until last week.

According to sources close to the situation, Saraya reportedly signed a three-year contract with AEW. It’s unknown if any options are in place for the contract. The amount of money Saraya was signed for suggests that “she’ll be wrestling in some capacity” for the company. It’s still unknown if she’s been cleared to return to the ring.

Multiple wrestlers within AEW reportedly went to bat for Saraya and also put in good words for her. However, one AEW talent said that the former WWE Divas Champion “didn’t need it” since the company already had an interest in her when she became available. The talents Fightful spoke to are said to have come off as very excited about her joining the roster.

Saraya is set to appear on tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite. The show will be broadcast live on TBS at 8:00 pm ET.
