Sean Waltman On Billy Gunn’s Status For DX Reunion, If He’s Interested In Backstage Role in WWE

Billy Gunn is not currently advertised for WWE’s DX Reunion on Raw next month, but Sean Waltman doesn’t think it’s impossible that he shows up. The 25th anniversary reunion of the group is set to take place on the October 10th episode of Raw with Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg and X-Pac all advertised to appear.

Gunn, who is a member of the AEW roster, is not advertised but Waltman weighed in on the possibility of Gunn appearing on a recent X-Pac Live Q&A for AdFreeShows. You can check out some highlights from the discussion below including Waltman’s thoughts on his current WWE status, per Wrestling Inc:

On Gunn potentially appearing at the reunion: “I don’t think that it’s impossible or completely out of the question. It just seems like the whole idea might have been more probable a couple months ago.”

On not being a regular part of the WWE staff: “I like to just come in once in a while, like we’re gonna be doing on October 10th at the Barclay’s Center, little appearances like that. I go and do the Comic-Con and other appearances … It’s very stress-free how my life is right now.”

On if he would be interested in a bigger position in WWE: “Sometimes it can get very combative. I just assume to stay slightly removed from all that. I don’t think they really need me to be honest with myself. Not that I don’t have anything to offer … I wouldn’t mind doing something that wouldn’t require a huge commitment.”
