Secondary Market Tickets For Summerslam Have Started To Inflate In Price

March 27, 2017 | Posted by Joseph Lee

As we previously reported, tickets for Summerslam have completely sold out after going on sale on Saturday. Wrestlezone reports that Ticketmaster.com still has two-packs of platinum seats (starting at $800), but attempting to buy them results in the website saying they’re sold out.

While WWE may release more tickets closer to the event, the floor plan is already finished. Meanwhile, tickets on the secondary market have started to increase in price. The cheapest upper balcony seats were $40-$50 during the weekend but are now up to $100-$120. Floor seats run from $700 to $2200. The event happens at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on August 20. It’s likely that NXT will run a Takeover event at the venue on August 19. AXXESS events and a WWE 2K18 reveal are also rumored.
