WWE Evolution

When WWE Evolution was originally announced, Stephanie McMahon said that “more than 50 women” will be a part of the historic card, The Wrestling Observer (via SportsKeeda) suggests that WWE is now downplaying that as several women will be left off the show. This includes many of the women in NXT.

Originally, names advertised included Bianca Belair, Lacey Evans, Dakota Kai, Candice LeRae, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir. It’s unknown how many of those women will actually make the show. McMahon previously suggested that women from all three brands would be a part, but this may no longer be the case.

The event happens on October 28 at the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum in New York. As of now, the card includes:

RAW Women’s Championship: Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Nikki Bella
Last Woman Standing for Smackdown Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Charlotte Flair
– Trish Stratus and Lita vs. Mickie James and Alexa Bliss
NXT Women’s Championship: Kairi Sane (c) vs. Shayna Baszler
