Smackdown Rating, Viewership Slip Heading Into Hell in a Cell

– The rating and viewership for this week’s Smackdown were down heading into this weekend’s Hell in a Cell PPV. Tuesday night’s episode garnered a 0.72 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 2.229 million viewers, down 6% and 4% from last week’s 0.77 demo rating and audience of 2.319 million. Both metrics were the lowest since the August 14th episode brought in a 0.7 rating and 2.189 million viewers.
Smackdown ranked #2 among cable originals for the night per Showbuzz Daily, behind FX’s Mayans M.C. (0.78 demo rating, 2.007 million viewers).
