Showbuzz Daily has the final ratings and viewership numbers available for last week’s New Year’s Day edition of SmackDown on FOX. Previously, the show scored overnight viewers numbers of 1.915 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in the key demo. Final adjusted numbers were slightly up in both metrics.

Based on the final tally, SmackDown managed to just reach over two million viewers for the episode, finishing with an average viewership of 2.013 million viewers. Ratings were also slightly up from the overnights in the key P18-49 demographic with a 0.53 rating.

As noted, SmackDown had stiff competition last week with the NCAA College Football Playoffs. The Ohio State vs. Clemson football game on ESPN topped the ratings for the evening with a 4.94 rating in the key demo and drew 18.574 million viewers.

SmackDown was still able to top the key demo ratings for the regular networks in primetime on Friday.
