State for Last Night’s AEW TV Tapings to Start Shelter in Place Order
– As previously reported, last night’s AEW TV tapings (Dynamite and Dark) were held at the One Fall Power Factory Gym in Norcross, Georgia. They were billed as being held at an “undisclosed location.” This happened the same week that the state of Florida received a “stay-at-home” order due to the coronavirus, which went into effect earlier today at midnight. Now, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has announced that he will be signing a shelter in place order for the state of Georgia (via Atlanta Journal Constitution).
Gov. Kemp will be signing the statewide order tomorrow. It will go into effect on Friday, April 3 and run through April 13, 2020. Basically, this news eliminates the Power Factory Gym as an option for next week’s edition of Dynamite on April 8.
AEW has already announced matchups for the next two weeks of Dynamite, which will be empty arena shows. The recent Dynamite episodes during the coronavirus era have still been broadcast live on TNT.
