The Elite Reportedly Haven’t Heard Back From AEW Regarding Their Suspensions
As you’ve probably heard by now, The Elite were suspended from AEW following a brawl after All Out, along with CM Punk, Ace Steel and others. Brandon Cutler, Christopher Daniels, Pat Buck and Michael Nakazawa were also involved, and were reportedly trying to break it up, and have since returned to work. At the time, it was reported that there was an investigation going on and the suspensions wouldn’t be up until it was over, at the very least.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that as of a few days ago, neither Kenny Omega nor the Young Bucks have heard back from AEW. The company has no plans to address anything in public. It’s believed that the situation is on hold due to possible legal action. Until that is cleared up, things might not get resolved for some time. It was also reported there is a “second hold up” that is not clear at this time.
