Tomohiro Ishii Out of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door Due to Injury, Replacement Named

Tomohiro Ishii will not be competing for the All-Atlantic Title at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door as planned due to an injury. NJPW announced on Thursday that Ishii suffered a knee injury and will not be able to compete at Sunday’s PPV against Malakai Black, PAC, and Miro as planned.
As a result, Clark Connors — who Ishii defeated to earn his spot in the match — will take his place for Sunday’s PPV. You can see the full announcement below:

Thank you for supporting New Japan Pro-Wrestling.Tomohiro Ishii, who was scheduled to compete on June 26 at AEWxNJPW Presents Forbidden Door, has sustained a left knee injury and is not medically cleared to compete.

After a hard fought qualifying match in Korakuen Hall on June 21, Clark Connors will take Ishii’s place in the All-Atlantic Championship four way at Forbidden Door. The card change is as follows
