Tony Khan Says He’s Not Bothered By WWE Counter-Programming, Plans To Focus on AEW

WWE has been accused of counter-programming AEW, particularly since there will be two WWE events next weekend, the same day as All In: Texas. AEW runs their event at Globe Life Field in Arlington. Meanwhile, WWE will run NXT The Great American Bash and Saturday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta. In an interview with WFAA (via Fightful), AEW President Tony Khan says he’s not worried about what WWE is doing, as he wants to focus on AEW and All In.
He said: “Well, I think we’re going to put on a great event, and we have to focus on putting on the best event we can with the best wrestlers in the world. So that’s a lot of fun. So we’re going to have a great show next Saturday afternoon, and we’re very focused on what AEW is doing, and AEW fans, and I think that’s served us really well.“
