Early Translations of Post-Main Event Promo for Wrestle Kingdom 12
– In the main event for today’s New Japan Pro Wrestling Wrestle Kingdom 12 event, Kazuchika Okada defeated Tetsuya Naito to retain the IWGP heavyweight title. After the post-match celebration for his victory, Okada took to the microphone to address Naito and the fans. The event had a reported attendance of 34,995 people. The attendance was up over 8,000 people from last year’s Wrestle Kingdom event. You can check out the replay of the event at NJPW World.
In the co-main event, Kenny Omega defended his IWGP United States title against former WWE Superstar Chris Jericho. Also in the opening match, the Young Bucks regained the IWGP jr. heavyweight tag team titles over Roppongi 3K. They have now won the belts seven times.
