Triple H recently spoke with Sky Sports (via sportskeeda.com) about working WrestleMania, and how his COO duties take up most of his time…

On Working WrestleMania: There’s no other describable feeling like standing in the ring. For me, this year, at WrestleMania, to stand in the ring with my wife – her first time competing at WrestleMania, with Kurt after a decade of being away, with Ronda having her first match in WWE, in front of 71,000 fans and there’s no feeling like that in the world. Our WWE fanbase is the greatest fans, the most incredible. crazy, insane, wow – and they’re just the best fans in the world. To get that opportunity to stand in front of them and do what we do is an honor and a thrill. There’s nothing like that.

On Focusing on His COO Duties: That being said, every year, the other things I do, if anything, at this point of my career, I’m so much more engaged in the developmental system and everything else that we’re doing. That’s really where my focus is so the competing part of it gets to be more and more difficult every single year because of the drain on my time in all these other aspects becomes more and more. After WrestleMania, there was no day off. We were straight back out.
