– It seems GFW has lost another member of its roster. In a post on his Twitter account, Tyrus (aka George Murdoch) has confirmed that Global Force Wrestling has granted his release from the company. Tyrus thanked the company and Ed Nordholm for his release and wished the roster all success. You can check out Tyrus’ tweet below.

As previously reported, Tyrus announced on his social media accounts earlier this week that he was not to work the recent Impact Wrestling tapings in Orlando, Florida due to what he labeled as “mistreatment” from GFW. He then released a video where he says he and his fans have been “handcuffed and treated like a second-class citizen creatively” over the last several weeks. You can also check out that video below.

Murdoch said he was not happy with how he was “playing phone tag” with GFW official, and he decided to put himself on “holdout” status as a result. He also said he wouldn’t return to the company until he was treated right. Now he’s opted to exit from GFW entire.

Murdoch had joined GFW/TNA in 2014. He had previously worked in WWE as Brodus Clay and was released from the company in 2014.
