Update on Future of Daniel Garcia in AEW, Possible Plans

Daniel Garcia is currently out with a storyline injury amid reports that his AEW contract expires this fall. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Garcia is believed to be re-signing with AEW and will feud with MJF when he returns. The injury angle was shot with that idea in mind.

Garcia has, at one point, had interest in WWE. While that’s possible, the belief is that he will stay in AEW, where he can get a better money deal. WWE is also said to be interested in Garcia.
