Update On Whether Or Not Bobby Fish Has Signed With AEW

Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite will feature Bobby Fish making his AEW debut as he challenges Sammy Guevara for the TNT Championship. This has led to questions on if this is a one-off appearance or if Fish will be with the company going forward.

Fightful Select reports that an image has circulated on the internet of Bobby Fish’s AEW render, used in the match graphic for his Dynamite appearance tonight, which shows him wearing a shirt with the AEW logo on it. This seems to suggest that he has been signed in some fashion. However, those who spoke with him at the MLW Fightland tapings this past weekend claimed he said that he has not signed with AEW as of now. He has been taking independent bookings in Pennsylvania lately and was released by WWE back on August 6.
