Update on the Real Attendance For WWE Hell in a Cell
October 12, 2017 | Posted by
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Hell in a Cell was the company’s first event at the new Little Caesar Arena in Detroit. WWE announced a sellout crowd of 16,200. Company policy is usually to not use the word sellout unless it really is; the number itself is almost always inflated (usually by 2,000 to 3,000 for arena shows and far more for stadium events.) While nothing was tarped off, there were a lot of empty seats noticeable. The real figure was closer to 13,000.
